It was another routine day at the Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood where Shawn Porter- who faces Hector Munoz this Friday night as the opening bout on the latest installment of ?ShoBox? from the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, Oklahoma- was working the mitts with his father/trainer, Kenny Porter. It?s something that goes on across every gym in the world. Working the pads nowadays is akin to baseball players taking batting practice or playing catch.
But there?s one key difference to how the Porters were going about it- Shawn had his headband covering his eyes. In essence, he was blindfolded.
