On Monday afternoon at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, Top Rank staged a press conference to officially announce their December 4th pay-per-view show from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California that features a main event of Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. versus Alfonso Gomez. Also on this show will be WBC lightweight champion Humberto Soto, who defends his crown against Urbano Antillon and appearances from Nonito Donaire and Brandon Rios.

Arum learned that his son was missing on August 31st, just hours before the national media tour was to begin for the Manny Pacquiao-Antonio Margarito promotion at the Beverly Hills Hotel. During this press conference, where a boisterous Arum banged the drum for this fight and continued his relentless and passionate defense of Margarito, you could not tell that such terrible news had befallen him and his family. After he had taken care of his responsibilities with the media, he was quickly on his way up north.
