Floyd Mayweather will more than likely avoid any jail time even with the fact that he’s got multiple felony charges hanging on his head. I’m guessing that there is some dealing going on underneath the table, and I wouldn’t doubt that there are a few checks being written. Who are the checks made out to? I’ll let you the readers fill in the blank on that one.
Floyd’s got deep pockets, and I am sure a few people will benefit from that and as a result he will walk from all of these charges. I am curious to see what kind of mindset Floyd will have once this is all behind him. Will he run back to the negotiating table? Will he have realized that he is blowing a chance at 50 million dollars, and a chance at restoring his legacy? Will he drop the steroid accusations, and drop those stupid blood testing demands?

Floyd need to realize that even if he lost to Manny Pacquiao, he would still improve his legacy status. If he fights Pacquiao and loses, at least he wouldn’t be looked at as a scared fighter with a big mouth. Hey, what if Floyd beats Manny Pacquiao? Sorry Pac fans, but that scenario is entirely possible. If Floyd wins, he not only repairs his reputation as a scared fighter, but he also takes his legacy status way up the chart.
