Lost: Reward offered for menacing mutt, “Perro” Angulo

LOST DOG NOTICE, ANSWERS TO THE NAME OF “PERRO”

It has come to my attention that there is a highly aggressive dog, a canine with real bite, on the loose in the Los Angeles megalopolis.

This bark and bite monster usually weighs about 154 pounds when it’s time to fight and probably is a bit heftier right now due to lack of exercise.

Promoter Big Gary Shaw and manager Mike Criscio should have implanted one of those identification microchips in their pet junior middleweight but they did not.

Some might say that this dog has bitten the hands that fed or used to feed him but I shall not go there.

Shaw told boxing gadly William Trillo Thursday that he is not the one who “dropped a dime” on “Perro” to HBO regarding immigration issues.

“Perro” is said to be friendly especially if you are a Golden Boy who can ply him with a new promotional contract and perhaps pay for an immigation lawyer who is a Mandrake The Magician type who may be able to get him restored to legal status in the United States.

“Perro” recently told one fight scribe his “papers” are not that messed up, that he only overstayed on a P1 Visa which prominent athletes are often given to work and live in America.

I’m hearing now even his Mastercard account is unsettled, never mind “Visa.”

But, if it’s just a minor visa issue, then pray tell then why “Perro” went by car from LA to a fight in South Florida last year?

Considering that you can still travel within the 50 states using a valid driver’s license or other state or federal ID, I find this curious.

Perhaps “Perro” wanted to visit various kennels along the way. One thing’s for sure, there were a lot of water stops along the way.

Kermit Cintron claims that the bark of “Perro” is worse than his bite and “Froggy” might be up for a rematch if and when “Perro” gets his immigration situation untangled.

One thing we are sure of and that’s that “Perro,” also known as Alfredo Angulo Lopez, is hoping not to get “dogged around” by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

“Perro” was just a pup when “adopted” by Senor Shaw, fresh from Mexicali.

Let’s be clear, Shaw claims he never “abandoned” this menacing mutt.

It would be shame if “Perro” becomes “a bone of contention” between the litigious Shaw and Oscar de la Hoya.

Reward offered for return of “Perro?”

Yes, sir, if “Perro” comes home, the garrulous Shaw promises to wear a muzzle for 48 hours.

“No questions asked and I’m buying the Kibbles ‘N’ Bits,” Shaw said.

(For the record, Scribe Dan from ESPN is a cat lover and ranks “Gato” Gonzalez as one of his all time Mexican favorites.)
