Apparently, Floyd Mayweather Jr. isn’t overly concerned about his impending legal battle.
His friend 50 Cent tweeted earlier today that the undefeated American still plans on fighting Pacquiao, and that Mayweather told him that he will not only beat him, but he will “knock that m***** f***** out”.

As Pacquiao prepares for his November 13 clash with Antonio Margarito, Mayweather’s next battle will be in court, due to allegations of grand larceny and domestic abuse after a dispute with Jose Harris.
Though Mayweather faces charges that could land him up to 34 years in prison, Arkansas fans that I’ve spoken to since Mayweather’s arrest on September 10, feel that it’s highly unlikely that Mayweather will find himself in any serious trouble once it’s all said and done.
Even if Mayweather is confident that he will not end up in jail, why is he suddenly so certain that a fight between himself and Pacquiao will take place?
An anonymous boxing insider told this writer that Pacquiao only agreed to blood tests up to 14 days before the fight during the 2nd set of negotiations, and cited this as one of the reasons the fight fell through.
If that’s true, has Mayweather decided that 14 days will be good enough the next time around?
On the other hand, another very reliable source informed this writer that Freddie Roach told him personally that Team Pacquiao agreed to all of Mayweather’s demands.
If that’s the case, it would be difficult for Mayweather to explain why he’s not fighting Pacquiao on November 13.
Who knows if Mayweather really wants to fight Pacquiao, or if he’s simply bluffing?
It has become impossible to separate fact from fiction.
