Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr is facing a misdemeanor domestic battery and 3 harassment charges, stemming from abuse allegations and theft of an iphone. By now you’ve all read the incident involving “Money” Mayweather’s baby mama. “Money” Mayweather is scheduled to appear in court November 9 for a preliminary hearing. (Reports indicate that “Money” could face 34 yrs in prison if all charges stick).
Before the incident, “Money” Mayweather made headlines with a racist rant towards Manny Pacquiao. Basically, it
hasn’t been a good month for “Money”.
Don King, the legendary Boxing promoter was recently quoted by USA Today in regards to “Money” Mayweather and the problems the fighter now finds himself in.
Quoted by the publication, King stated: “Floyd is a genius; he has taken nothing and made something out of it. What you have is nobody who cares about him as a human being. They care about him as a cash register. And when they raid the cash register and there’s nothing left in the drawers, you won’t see them. They will disappear, just like the money did.”
To the best of my knowledge, no one has ever accused King of being stupid. He is a brilliant man and his wisdom should never be overlooked.
