With the recent news that Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. will not be making the trek to Manila in the Philippines to train with Team Pacquiao later this month there is much speculation as to the future of the 24-year old Sinaloa native. A potential December 4th showdown with Miguel Cotto seems to be down the drain as Freddie Roach and other key members from the Wild Card Gym will be leaving later this week without the undefeated fighter.
In other news, Shane Mosley is looking to bounce back from his loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr. earlier this year and will be taking on the challenge of Sergio Mora this weekend in Los Angeles. At 39 years of age Mosley is in a do or die situation and his career could be at stake in a fight that is more risky than the odds are showing.
