I’m completely in Floyd Mayweather’s corner on phony Baby Mama allegations

This may shock my regular readers but, this time around, I’m in Floyd Mayweather’s corner.

I believe Mayweather is the victim in the charges of domestic assault made by Baby Mama Josie Harris. I am convinced that, once the police speak to Mayweather and then hand their results over to the district attorney’s office in Clark County, this case will go where it belongs.

File 13 meaning the wastebasket, that’s where.

Harris’ lying past haunts her and ruins her credibility in a she said/he said case against the father of their three children.

She cried “wolf” in a 2003 case involving similar charges against the boxer. There was an argument about Mayweather dealing with other females and, that time, Harris told authorities Mayweather laid his lethal hands on her as they motored along in a Bentley.

Fast forward to the trial in 2005 and Harris purred like a happy housecat under oath, calling L’il Floyd “a teddy bear” and saying she knew he would “never lay a hand” on her.

This whole affair has the unmistakeable stench of a money grab by Harris.

As far as Mayweather jetting off before cops arrived on the scene, I say so what?

Tempers were frayed and it was smart for Mayweather to let her spin her story to the cops first. That sounds like smart poker playing, letting the accuser show her cards to the dealer if you will.’

It’s not as if Mayweather was speeding away in the white Bronco, pulling an OJ Simpson getaway play. Leaving the area also gave the fighter ample time to ring up his on speed dial criminal attorney, Richard Wright, and fill him in on the argument at the house on Tropical Vine Avenue.

You know who I feel sorry for, though, in this time wasting mess? The cops and the DA’s office.

They’re spinning their law enforcement wheels on a bunch of hooey in a city/county where real violent crime is abundant.

Is Mayweather stupid enough to beat Baby Mama up in his Big Boy Mansion?

No, because he didn’t just like he never whacked her in that ride in his Bentley.

She had a conniption due to jealousy.

Perhaps her latest tirade is sparked by emotional or financial issues, I don’t know.

I do know any first rate defense attorney would carve Harris up like Tom Turkey at Thnaksgiving if she took again to the witness stand.

“Were you lying then or are you lying now?”

Prior testimony from the 2005 trial might be brought into play.

Down goes Harris, down goes Harris.

Unless we suddenly hear from a new witness or Harris has substantial injuries verified by the hospital (Southern Hills) she rushed to, I say the authorities will junk this case.

Mayweather’s credibility on boxing issues, primarily his “Duckweather” avoidance of Manny Pacquiao, is sub zero.

But, on the domestic front, I see Mayweather as the victim of a known liar.
