Beating the great two weight-world champion, and four-time world heavyweight champion, at cards (namely, snap) and stone-paper-scissors will remain as one of the highlights of my career. Standing with him, one glove each, pretending to spar, while he laughed at me, even higher.
Thankfully, he had uttered the words ?I don?t hit people for no money? before we stood for 10 seconds in a toe-to-toe, one glove sparring session. He was true to his word. What struck me most about Holyfield is what fun he is when relaxed.
Filled with burning ambition, the gloves and the pack of cards will now be part of the travel kit. Moving down the weight divisions is the next plan, and the Telegraph challenge will be issued to Manny Pacquiao?
