So, the state of Texas has granted Antonio Margarito a boxing license? They sure have, and on November 13th, 2010 in Dallas he will face the judge and the jury. Manny Pacquiao will be primed and ready, and when the bell rings for the first round, the jury will start deliberating. Guilty as charged!
Antonio Margarito has been found guilty of cheating, and on November 13th, the REAL sentencing will be delivered. The taller much slower Margarito will be lucky to stay on his feet in this fight, and even if he does his face will look like hamburger meat after this fight is over with. Pacquiao is much too fast. His speed and the power that he brings will carve up, chew up, and spit out the big Mexican brawler.
Margarito will be sentenced to two closed eyes, a possible broken nose, and some stitches for good measure. This isn’t exactly the fight that the fans have been asking for, but nevertheless, it’s Pacquiao in action again.
The fight is in Texas where there is a huge Hispanic population. This bodes well for Margarito, but it doesn’t matter though, because there will still be thousands of Filipinos that will be in attendance as well. You can take that to the bank.
Mississippians are disgusted for the most part. The fans in Jackson, Biloxi, and in Southaven that I have spoken to about Margarito mostly feel as if he should have never been given a chance to fight again. The act of putting plaster on your hands could be lethal to an opponent. When I was in Monroe, LA for the ESPN card last Wednesday, I spoke with a referee that wanted to be anonymous. The ref is a well known ref but asked that I keep his name on the DL. This referee is also sickened that Margarito is even being considered to fight again.

Texas gave him the green light, and so be it. There’s nothing that can be done now except just watch the fight and see what happens. Most of the boxing insiders feel as if Pacquiao will deliver a stiff punishment.
It appears as if Manny’s first foreign affair as a Congressman will be to hammer down the sentence upon Antonio Margarito the old fashioned way…with his fists.
