I wish you would have called me to get your story straight.
I have known Chad since he was 8 years old.
I am the person who has put up almost 250k in atty fees for Chad’s legal woes.
I have treated Chad like one of my own kids for the last 6 years.
I have not taken a dime from him till he had is fight for the WBC title.
For the first 5 years of me being Chad’s manager I have given him everything he has ever wanted, to the tune of almost 600k.
Not once did I ask him for the money back.
There were times I did not even take a percentage because he wanted to buy a house.
I put 100k away for him as a investment turning it into about 150k in a year.
I can go on and on telling you what I have done for that kid.
The money Gary gave for a business deal was suppose to be a deal Chad was suppose to do , but backed out. Chad said go ahead do it with Gary I don’t want to do it any more. Chad signed a waiver saying this.
Nothing was ever done behind his back.
Alfredo Angulo was a boxer someone brought to me in Vegas during one of Chad’s camps.
It took me 6 months to try and get a promoter for him.
They all turned me down.Top Rank ,Goldenboys, Lou all of them said NO thank you.
I had to beg Gary to give the kid a shot. that is the true story.
Please get your facts straight before you print them.
If you noticed Chads parents were also not at the fight, his Mom called me in tears, asking what went wrong with her son, who is telling him to do what he is doing?
It is very very unfortunate thing what money does to people who never had it.
It makes them very very ugly.
My question to you is what is Chad going to do when boxing is over. you can not go to camp for 4 weeks in Vegas with your wife and kids in tow.
How in God’s name are you going to get ready for a fight like that ??
Maybe just maybe he should look at the people who he is with.
You ask any person in CT what i have done for that kid and they will all tell you the same thing.
If not for me he even admitted he would have been out of boxing!!
