I?m going to keep this short and sweet yet sharp enough to tickle your brain. The obvious here is that we all know that Pac-Man versus The Tornado is nothing close to what Manny vs. Floyd would have been. The window is open and freezing air is blowing in, the grass is cut so the snakes are out and about dancing to the noise of the howling winds. The big dance is near and I?m already making plans to attend. It?s not the prom but it still brings just enough curiosity to spark some interest. I mean, I don?t know about you guys but I am curious to see how bad the baddest man on the planet is going to beat down the very slow and predictable Margarito. Mosley who is a deadly puncher himself was able to bend Margarito with ease, so what do you think will happen when Manny strikes? Manny, who by the way has a punch that is so cold that it can drop two at a time. Tony is in for either a very short night or a very long night. I know all this yet still I plan to take the time to get dolled up buy a ticket to the dance. Curiosity killed the cat and it?s going to slay me as well. Why? Because Manny still comes in with his head low and Tony can blitz out a mean upper cut. Will he catch and hurt Manny with it? Probably not, but I?m curious enough to see if he is lucky enough to strike gold, I mean diamonds.
Take tomorrow night as an example. Myself along with the majority of fight fans feel that Devon Alexander will rush through Kotelnik without breaking a sweat, yet still we will tune in to see it unfold. Why? For 2 reasons, #1 because we are fight fans, and #2 because the underdog no matter how under he may be, has a chance to alter the future. I?m feeling ill towards the film but curious to see the ending. By the way, I?m picking Alexander to cruise by Kotelnik with very few speed bumps along the way and I?m picking Cloud to barely squeeze by Johnson in a dog fight.
