While returning to Los Angeles after a big fight week-end in Las Vegas, British junior welterweight Amir Khan is hoping he gets the opportunity to fight Juan Manuel Marquez this coming December.
Saturday night Khan was able to view Marquez?s twelve-round decision victory over Juan Diaz and wishes to test his own skills against the future Hall of Famer.
While Khan realizes Marquez is long in the tooth, he has set a clear goal for himself: to knock-out Marquez who has never been knocked out.
No fighter has put Marquez down for the count, not Floyd Mayweather, not Manny Pacquiao, not Marco Antonio Barrera.
Lofty goal?
Time will tell.
