Code of Mayweather silence: Only two worth any airtime

Pure bliss is coming to boxing.

It will be Nirvana when the Internet is no longer polluted by the nonsensical, manic ranting and raving of various members of the Mayweather clan.

I can hardly wait.

Personally, I’m taking the pledge here and now to not dial up anyone named Roger,, Jeff or Floyd Mayweather Sr.regarding boxing or any other subject.

It’s my revival of the old Reagan era “Just Say No,” antidrug campaign.

This verbal and then written pollution has got to stop.

So here’s who I’m not talking to and why, not in any special order:

JEFF MAYWEATHER: Nice fellow but Uncle Jeff is pompous windbag who tries to give people the idea he is a trusted adviser to Floyd Jr. Nothing could be further from the truth. Unless Leonard Ellerbe sends Jeff out to pick up the dry cleaning, he has no role of any kind in his nephew’s camp. If he did, he would be shoving his mug in front of TV camera and the like. Jeff’s latest non-revelation is that Round 2 of the Pacman-Floyd big fight talks broke down because Manny would not agree to totally random blood testing. How does Jeff know? The answer is that it’s the guess of an outsider who is alienated from Ellerbe and the rest of the Big Boy Mansion Inner Circle. As I said, Jeff’s a good lad but the clerk at your nearest 7-11 has more inside info on this situation than he does.

FLOYD SENIOR: Pretty Daddy as I call him now wants to be known as a certified tax expert. His excuse for his son ducking Pacquiao a second time is that the tax situation would be too onerous for L’il Floyd to add on another $40 million to the millions he made by fighting Shane Mosley on May 1. I guess we can now call Floyd Sr. H&R Blockhead because his son’s top tax rate remains at 35 percent regardless of his total income above $335,000 in a given year. That’s the law but why bother a flummoxed Floyd Sr. with such bothersome details as actual facts. I still like Senior but he’s a toxic waste dump with his anti-Pacquiao homophobic and other slurs.

Filipino Congressman Manny Pacquioao has NOT come out in favor of legalizing “A side meth” or giving it to schoolchildren which may come as a shock to Roger Mayweather (Philboxing.com)

ROGER MAYWEATHER: He could be singing, ?I’m In The Jailhouse Now,? after his upcoming assault trial in Las Vegas. From all appearances, female boxer Melissa St. Vil is going to show up testify that Uncle Rajah made an unprovoked physical attack upon her. Police arriving on the scene are said to have witnessed Roger putting the patented ?Black Mamba? choke hold on St. Vil. Roger’s explanation is that she started the row by clobbering him with a lamp. I will offer one caveat, if Roger offers me an exlusive, jailhouse interview, I’ll be there with bells on. Roger can continue his studies of Filipino history and the development of ?A side meth? if he has another prison stint or maybe he’ll get lucky and get sent up to Lovelock where he could be a bunkmate of OJ Simpson. ?The Juice? is a big boxing fan. Maybe he can badmouth Angelo Dundee in the hoosegow.

Now, for the flip side and I know this will thrill the named parties. I am talking to, if they are willing:

FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR: I know he can give me permission as he is, from all reports, his one and only bossman. Anything he says is news and I am all about news that doesn’t make you snooze. So, if you want to chat, Moneymaker, you know how tpo find me.

LEONARD ELLERBE: Laughing Lenny draws words of semi-praise from Bob ?Divide & Conquer? Arum. As Bob put it, when Floyd says jump, Lenny has to respond with alacrity, saying, ?How high and in which direction?? But there is no doubt that Ellerbe is Floyd’s ultra loyal liege so I’ve got time for him also.

The final score is Mayweathers Marley Is Not Talking To 3 and Mayweathers Marley Will Talk To But Don’t Hold Your Breath 2.

Whew, that was kind of exhausting.
