Upcoming boxing sensation Benedict Suico will slug it out against Nonong Develleres in the main event of the RWS International boxing promotion “Binukbukay sa Tisa” on Sunday at the Barangay Tisa Sports Complex.
Suico, who has jumped shipped from the Stonewall Boxing Club to the Wakee Salud Stable, comes off a first-round knockout over Jun Ebale in Lapu-Lapu City last Sept. 16.
Suico is expected to drop the same bombs on his opponent from Bukidnon Province in their 10-round non-title fight.
Carrying a 10-win, one-loss record with seven knockouts, Suico is getting back into perfect shape since losing to Kaichon Sor Vorapin last Feb. 28.
In the undercard are Pingping Tepora against wily veteran Sherwin Manatad of Misamis Oriental also for 10 rounds, and Bonnie Maido against Winnie Bartiquil Zamboanga City in six rounds.
Supporting the three pro bouts are five amateur fights: Cebu City’s Ronel Caballes versus Marlon Kawaling of Lapu-Lapu City, Reomart Sentillas of Mandaue City vs. Leo Estamped of Lapu-Lapu City, Jonthan Nacua of Carcar vs. Dondee Pumar of Lapu-Lapu City, Rodulfo Sumabong of Mandaue vs. Bert Bayo of Consolacion and Booy Sentillas of Mandaue against Jun Urot of Talisay City.
The card, held in line with the fiesta celebration of Barangay Tisa, is supported by Tisa Barangay Capt. Eddie Cabulao.
