This is it. The time is here to make or break the mega fight and it all comes down to Floyd Mayweather Jr. For me, I don’t like the sound of that. I don’t like that everything hangs on the mood swings of the most controversial figure in Boxing. In addition to Floyd’s instability, I’m not confident in Bob Arum’s comments either. He leaves the door open for Floyd Jr to sneak out. So, will Floyd Jr sign this contract or will he chicken out? By mid-July, he’s either in or out. We’re not going to wait forever. I don’t believe Floyd wants to fight Manny Pacquiao. At least not now. ?The question is whether Mayweather is willing to go into the ring this year. It?s up to him. His people would love him to do it. He may not want to do it. If Mayweather wants to fight in November, I believe the fight will be made. To me it seems — it seems, and say that, because I?m not Mayweather — that the only issue is whether he wants to fight in November.? Unfortunately, I’m a little disappointed in Arum. Bob should have been more firm in his comments that if Floyd Jr doesn’t sign this contract then he’s chicken.
