Christmas is upon us. ‘Tis the season when retailers across the world make their biggest score, spouses give each other brand new Lexus’s to keep their marriages happy (well, that seems to be the message in Lexus commercials, anyway), everyone gets loot, and, oh yeah, I almost forgot, the birth of Christ.
It is better to give than to receive they say, but keep those receipts handy. Yeah, it’s the thought that counts, but hey, we all want good stuff for X-Mas. Let’s not lie to ourselves. Me? What I want for Christmas won’t be under any tree, what I’m asking from Kris ‘KO’ Kringle are ten fights for 2004.
And these aren’t necessarily the best, biggest or most lucrative bouts that can be made but fights that I want to see. There really is no rhyme and reason to some my selections but I just would like to see these match-ups. See, I’m like that kid in the classic movie ‘A Christmas Story’ about a young lad named Ralphie Parker who yearned for a ‘Red Ryder Carbine Action, 200 Shot, Range Model Air Rifle’ to be under his Christmas tree, despite those who warned him repeatedly that he’d shoot his eye out.
