We constantly hear the Mayweathers making assumptions or threats, depending how you look at, in regards to Manny Pacquiao getting KO’d if he takes a drug test and fights Floyd Mayweather Jr. But, if or when the fight does happen, I have a completely different view of what the outcome will be. And it will involve Mayweather Jr, not Pacquiao, eating most of the leather. Let’s examine further: First and foremost, it’s not a matter of if Manny will get drug tested. The Mayweathers act like Manny won’t take a drug test. He has agreed to random blood testing up to 14 days before the fight and right after the fight. He has agreed to urine testing throughout. He has the Nevada State Athletic Commission on his side as well. However, the Mayweathers still “mudd the waters” by ignoring the facts. In a recent interview with Lorne Scoggins, Jeff Mayweather declared that Manny Pacquiao would get knocked out if he were to take a drug test and fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. “But If Pacquiao agrees to the random testing, I think he will get knocked out. I would say, probably within 5 rounds, Pacquiao will get knocked out, because he can’t get out of the way of anything.” Jeff goes on to break down how and why Manny would get KO’d: “One thing that Floyd has always shown; once they start saying that someone’s going to beat him, Floyd don’t just beat them, he dominates them. He shows that they don’t even belong in the same ring with him. He did it with Mosley, he did it with Marquez, and everybody else they’ve said that about. “Floyd’s got a gift. Once he figures you out, check, and checkmate. He’s mastered that probably better than any fighter I’ve ever seen, and I’m not saying that because he’s my nephew. I’m saying that because I’ve seen it.” I hate to burst Jeff’s bubble, but what Floyd did against Marquez and Mosley won’t happen with Manny. Pacquiao is faster and more athletic than Mosley and Marquez. Pacquiao has more power, speed, and stamina. Also, where Mosley and Marquez failed to capitalize, Manny will. Pacquiao will exploit Mayweather’s lack of power and unwillingness to go toe-to-toe. Manny is fast enough to cut-off the ring and prevent Floyd Jr from dancing or running away. However, Jeff’s comments weren’t the only trash talking threats from the Mayweather clan. Floyd Mayweather Sr also said that Manny would get KO’d by Floyd Jr..
