I can’t remember the last time a potential fight has taken control of a sport the way Floyd Mayweather Jr vs. Manny Pacquiao has. In fact, this fight has taken the sport of Boxing hostage. From fans and media to fighters and promoters, everyone is waiting to see when or if this fight will be made. No other fight seems to matter and no other fight can be made. These two pound for pound greats have literally stopped 2 weight classes from making matches and have at least 6 fighters wondering if they will get a chance at the big-money sweepstakes. Both Miguel Cotto and Antonio Margarito have said they would fight at the 147 pound level just to get a shot at either fighter.
