One day after he received a hero’s welcome from cheering fans with welcome banners at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, International Boxing Federation junior featherweight champion Manny Pacquiao was back at the L&M Gym working out to shake off the jetlag and to remain in shape for what his business manager Rod Nazario said would be “the biggest fights of his career.”
Pacquiao told Viva Sports on his arrival Wednesday night that he wants to fight Marco Antonio Barrera because he is confident he can beat him but indicated he would listen to the advise of his handlers, including trainer Freddie Roach who suggested that he first fight Paulie Ayala.
