I know that this idea won’t go over well with many Pacquiao fans, but I think Manny should come down to a 7 day cut-off for the random blood tests with Floyd Mayweather Jr. Now, before I go further with my reasons for a 7 day cut-off, I want to make this perfectly clear. I do not think Manny Pacquiao is taking any PEDs. I don’t think he’s cheating in any way possible.
However, I do think for the sake of all the fans worldwide, a compromise to 7 days will silence all of the critics in team Mayweather, Golden Boy Promotions, and the United States Anti-Doping Agency. It will unquestionably say that Manny wants this fight and has done everything he can to make it happen.
Giving Blood Manny has stated numerous times that he’s not opposed to giving blood, he just wants to make sure it’s not too close to the fight.

7 days is plenty of time for Manny to overcome any fatigue mentally, physically, spiritually, or emotionally. I’ll be the first to admit, I hate giving blood. I am afraid of needles and it’s all a mental thing because I have broken almost 20% of the bones in my body over my lifetime. I’ve been through extreme emotional pain as well. But, I still won’t let anyone stick me with a needle.
I fully understand how this can be a huge mental distraction for Manny especially the day of the fight. But I do believe 7 days is plenty of time to recover from any distractions.
14 Days Recently, Manny came down to 14 days as a compromise; Which is what Floyd Mayweather Jr originally said during their initial round of negotiations. Unfortunately, Mayweather Jr has since said he would only agree to tests that go all the way up to the day of the fight. So, I don’t see Floyd Mayweather Jr agreeing to 14 days. Now, 7 days would be right in the middle of Manny’s 14 days compromise and Floyd’s day of the fight demand.
