Los Angeles – It was announced that Filipino Rodel Mayol, fighting out of Hollywood’s Wild Card Gym, will rematch fighting Mexico’s Omar Nino on June 19 at Queretaro, Mexico.
This will be a rematch for the junior flyweights who fought to a draw back in February. The fight was stopped during the third round when Mayol was hit by a blow below the belt and could not continue the fight.
As in February, Mayol will once again travel into Nino’s home country, a regularity as Mayol’s last five fights have been in hostile territories.
No word if the bout will be available to American fight fans via a Spanish-language network.
