About a month ago, Manny Pacquiao publicly commented on the tragic events that had taken place with Edwin and Jennifer Valero. After expressing remorse and condolences, Manny made a shocking comment through his adviser Mike Koncz. Pacquiao thought that there was the possibility of a conspiracy in the death of Edwin Valero. With the recent developments in the case, it appears that Manny’s ‘conspiracy theory’ might not be just a theory. Let’s examine further. ?He thought about the possibility of a conspiracy. And that it was possible that the family of Valero?s wife had powerful friends and so there could have been a conspiracy to get back at Valero.? If police authorities felt that Valero could be a danger even to himself, they should have stripped him down to his briefs inside his cell or put on a straight jacket on him. They do that in the United States. Venezuelan authorities should have placed Valero under suicidal watch.? Koncz, Philstar.com Apparently, Pacquiao’s camp aren’t the only people who think there might be more to Edwin’s death. Within the last few days, relatives of Edwin Valero had his body exhumed for an independent forensic investigation. The results are due back in less than two weeks. Edwin’s relatives think that the police might have played a part in the ‘suicide’ of Valero. Many people had initially questioned how Edwin could have been left alone long enough to commit suicide. They also questioned why he wasn’t placed under suicide watch when all reports claimed that Valero wasn’t in his right mind. And now, they are back out again. Only this time, they don’t seem to be so farfetched. Perhaps, Manny and the many other conspiracy theorists might really be onto something. To exhume a body several weeks after burial, would have to indicate that there’s more to the story than we know. I don’t see the relatives being granted an exhumation based on an assumption. So, as I stated in my initial coverage, we will have to keep waiting as more details unfold. But I wouldn’t dismiss any of those conspiracy theories just yet.
