Former British boxing champion, and former WBO super middleweight titlist Joe Calzaghe (46-0) and his “Strictly Come Dancing” girlfriend, Jo-Emma Larvin, 30, have split, according to British newspaper reports.

The former super middleweight champion is considered Britain’s greatest boxer ever. Prior to his retirement, he had beaten legends Roy Jones, Jr and Bernard Hopkins in 2008.
He had also beaten a then-undefeated Mikkel Kessler in 2007 as well as Jeff Lacy in 2006.

According to an industry insider, Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer spoke with the Welsh while he was in Las Vegas regarding a possible return to the ring.
Earlier this year, tabloids and newspapers reported Calaghe’s use of cocaine.
Calzaghe apologized to friends, family and fans after he admitted taking cocaine in the year since his retirement.
Joe’s father, Enzo, said there was little truth in rumors of a return to the ring, and that his son would be mad to risk jeopardizing his 46-fight unbeaten record.
