Championship boxers, Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather are on a course with destiny whether they like it or not. So, why would Manny Pacquiao, a known warrior inside the ring be pussyfooting around suiting up and getting in the ring with Floyd Mayweather, Jr. Is there really any plausible excuse? Yes, we know that Mayweather is known for his outrageous theatrics and that his all-of-a-sudden drug test demands were just that. But how, in any way does that justify Manny Pacquiao not just settling those scores and shutting Mayweather up the right way – in the ring! Recently, Manny Pacquiao reversed his position on taking the tests – a gesture he should’ve made months ago – and released the following statement:
“I am willing to help the sport for the future of the sport. I do not want to see anyone cheat or cheat this sport. For that reason I am willing to consider taking blood [tests] as close as 14 days prior to the fight, as long as my opponent does the same, and it is not a lot of blood, just enough to test.”
We know, both Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather have pocketed some sizable purses in both of their recent matches. Mayweather brags about taking home over $60 Million, including endorsements. Couldn’t either of their promotions companies just come together and promo this fight already? C’mon Manny Pacquiao – it’s your move – call Mayweather out already!!
