Boxing greats Thomas Hearns and Sugar Ray Leonard were joking around inside the media center at their joint press conference.
Welterweight fighter Zab Judah was mobbed by fans looking to snap pictures in the hallway leading to the Grand Arena. Former New York Giants defensive end Michael Strahan brought his girl to a posh restaurant next to the media center. Perhaps the NFL’s greatest tight end, Tony Gonzalez, was spotted walking towards the casino section with his entourage.
TV star Eva Longorio Parker, wife of San Antonio Spurs Tony Parker (who was also at the fight), was busy texting on her phone while walking to the celebrity section in one of the arena tunnels. Toronto Raptors star Chris Bosh was trying to enter the arena with his girlfriend and friends through the tunnel, but was instructed to go through the regular entrance.
