The mega fight has come and gone. Floyd Jr proves that he was the best fighter tonight as he overcomes early trouble to decisively defeat Shane Mosley. Floyd took control in the 3rd round and never looked back. He demonstrated complete calmness after getting hurt.
Floyd showed off his elite hand speed and amazing defensive skills. Shane grew frustrated as the rounds went on. Shane began eating more punches and eventually looked defeated half way through the fight. Credit to Shane for finishing out the fight with being stopped. At one point Shane?s corner threatened to stop the fight if Shane didn?t land some punches.
In the end, Floyd proved to be the ?Money? as he dominated the fight in un-Floyd like fashion. Pretty Boy went in there and fought toe-to-toe against Shane and proved to everyone watching that he?s not scared to mix it up,

Shane Mosley comes out first. Slowly walking in the back and then his music (Eminem) hits as he gets ready to come out through the curtains. Mosley looks confident and gets into the ring with a hop in his step.
Next comes Mayweather. Well, he?s told that it?s time for him come out but instead he makes the crowds wait. He?s watching himself on TV. Mosley is waiting in the ring while Floyd continues to stall and make everyone wait. Floyd?s ?Money, Money, Money? music hits and out he comes finally into the ring.

Michael Buffer gets out the cue cards and goes through his list.
Shane has smiles almost like he?s just happy to be there. Floyd is serious and not goofing around. Buffer introduces Kenny Bayless.

Mosley is introduced first. He?s bouncing around with a smile on his face. Kisses his glove points to the camera and bows.
Mayweather is introduced and he?s all smiles and bouncing around. He talks to Floyd Sr.
Referee Instructions
The ref tells them where it?s ok and that he expects a clean, tough fight. Tells them to obey his command.
Round 1
Right to the middle of the ring, Both men kinda paw at each other and a tie-up. Some more grabbing from Mosley and Mayweather. Mosley tries to land a few jabs to the body. More grabbing from both men. Mosley slips. Ref stops. Mosley wanted to touch gloves but Floyd threw punches. Shane looks tight and Floyd looks loose and relaxed. Floyd throws a few jabs and they tie-up. Floyd?s punches look crisp and Mosley looks tight.

They start off and Floyd lands some quick shots. Then Shane ties up and into the ropes and the red breaks it. Back to the middle. More pushing from each other. Shane lands a big right hand and Floyd grabs the arm and holds on as the ref breaks it. The crowd is cheering. Floyd is blocking as Shane is throwing another big right. Shane loosens up and lands more big shots. Another right and Mayweather buckles. Floyd?s legs look wobbly. Floyd keeps tying up Shane and the crowd is chanting for Shane. Both men lock up and ref breaks. Both fighters start exchanging punches and then a series of grabs.

Floyd tends to keep fighting Shane and not dancing. Floyd is starting to put some punches together. Mosley doing more moving as Mayweather is the aggressor. Floyd lands a nice left and moves. Now Floyd is getting into a rhythm. Both men trying to land the jab but they lock up and the ref breaks.

Conclusion
Floyd Mayweather Jr absolutely surprised me tonight. Floyd came to fight. He shut me up with all the thoughts of him dancing. I?m shocked. I give Floyd all the credit for tonight?s fight. He didn?t run. He fought toe-to-toe tonight. Despite all the criticism that Floyd has earned, he proved a lot of critics tonight. I only wish he would have fought like this more throughout his career.
