First of all Robert thanks for the time and how is Casey doing?
RG ? She?s coming along well. I?m happy that she?s right where she?s supposed to be. All the prayers have helped and I?m grateful for every one?s support.
So looks like it?s going to be Roberto Arreita on April 30th as you two headline Solo Boxeo Tecate at the Tropicana, How has camp been going?
RG ? Camp has been pretty good. I got great work with a couple of guys that were giving me good looks. I know Arreita is coming to fight so I?ve been working hard. I?m excited to be back in the ring.
Anything new that you have been working on to make you even more of a dangerous fighter?
RG ? We?ve seen tape on him and picked up some holes in his defense. I cant elaborate and give it away, but yeah I?d say we?ve been working on some new things.
You know Martin Honorio has been on a tear as of late, I still remember seeing you come to Tucson for that fight. I remember it well because I think that?s when you first heard about Casey. You came in for the weigh-in, didn?t make weight at first, but you then made weight like 45 min later. I was worried that you may be drained come fight night, boy was I wrong. Next night, you entered the ring and knocked Honorio out in one round then left right away to go and be at Casey?s side. I will never forget that. I can?t wait to see you back in Arizona, with Casey and your kids at your side.
RG ? Yeah that?s when Casey first got diagnosed with Leukemia. I was not going to be denied on that night. Once I stepped into the ring, all I kept thinking about was what my dad and I worked on, which was to catch him while he was leaning in. We accomplished our goal.
After Arreita, who will you have your sights on next?
RG ? First I have to take care of business on April 30th. God willing everything goes as planned against Arrieta, then I would have to say, the winner of Juan Manuel Marquez vs Juan Diaz. Marquez is a future Hall of Famer and the best in the division. Those are the type of fights I?m seeking. I?m want to fight the best.

RG ? Yeah I encourage everyone to join me in my quest to be ?Man of the Year?. All the money raised goes to Leukemia research. Many children suffering will benefit as we hope to find a cure.
