Former light middleweight world champion Sergio Mora watched the fights last night on HBO and got more and more depressed as each round went on. Mora had a contract in hand that he signed to fight Kelly Pavlik earlier this year. For some reason, still unkown to Mora, his opportunity at Pavlik never happened. Pavlik pulled out of the fight and that was that. Last night “The Latin Snake” watched as Sergio Martinez took Pavlik’s titles and became the middleweight world champion. Mora makes it very clear in this 8CN Podast, that he wants Sergio Martinez. Mora feels that it should have been him last night and not Martinez with his arms raised. With that said, Sergio is very proud of Martinez, and tells 8CN that he’s proud of the South American champ.
