Manny Pacquiao Caught Up Between Two Lovers: “Who Are You Picking?”

AS VEGAS, Nevada , April 14, 2010 – At first blush, Pound-for-Pound King Manny Pacquiao must have been

caught up in his thoughts about these purported “two lovers,” even during his political campaign sorties and run- about in the trails. But, he has his power of choice. Should he engage them or give them both a piece of his big heart, that depends upon the outcome of his foray into politics which will conclude this May 10 with congressional elections in the Philippines in the lone district of Sarangani, to which he is contesting a seat.

And who is he picking of these two lovers: Sugar Shane Mosley and Floyd Mayweather, Jr.? Should there be a “draw” after these two fighters battle up, then Pacquiao will have to subsequently face both fighters when his political frenzy settles down.

Boxing’s superstar and six-time world champion, Floyd “Money” Mayweather, Jr. cannot just wait to demonstrate his greatness in the sweet science, suggesting to declare his fatal intent: To blast away Sugar Shane Mosley, the welterweight megastar and the reigning WBA Super World Welterweight Champion.

Both will rumble in the mega-event promoted by Golden Boy in association with Mayweather Promotions, MGM Grand and Cerveza Tecate, AT & T, Dewart Tools, StubHub, dubbed “Who R U picking?”

Mosley vs. Mayweather will take place Saturday, May 1 at the almost sold-out MGM Grand in Las Vegas and will be produced and distributed live by HBO Pay-per-View, beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.

“Ever since I came back to the sport I said I only wanted to fight the best and Shane Mosley is one of the best,” said Mayweather, Jr. (40-0, 25 KO’s) in an exclusive interview with Associated Content during the media workout in Las Vegas. “Not only does he have the skills, but he is also fast, strong and a very tough competitor.”

But, “his speed and power won’t mean much that night against my will and determination to dominate him inside the square circle,” Mayweather, Jr. added.

In fact, “when I compete against the best, I am always at my best; so on May 1 the fans will see one great performance.”
