MANILA, Philippines – A music video spoofing a favorite song of pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao has gone viral.
The website, funnyordie.com, released a “never-before-seen” music video of the Filipino boxing champion.
The video of the song, “Sometimes When I Punch,” shows Pacquiao fantasizing ?about life outside the ring”.
Parts of the lyrics of the video-spoof read:
“I am the world’s best fighter The greatest pound-for-pound From Vegas to Manila I knockout every round
But actually I’ll tell you I’m kind of getting bored When I am boxing in the ring I dream of doing more”
Sometimes when I punch My brain goes out to lunch And I imagine myself living on the moon
Or riding on a white tiger In downtown Paris, France Drink some wine And watch that tiger dance?
Pacquiao is not only well-known inside the ring. He also conquers the concert stage with his after-fight music gigs.
During those gigs, the Pacman never missed to perform Dan Hill’s ballad “Sometimes When We Touch”.
He also sang that song during his interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The song is the theme song of Pacquiao and his wife, Jinkee.
