Filipinos Swept in Thailand

WBC#3 superbantam Saenghiran Lookbanyai (14-0,11 KOs) impressively retained his WBC Asian Boxing Council 122lb title as he stopped ABCO#9 Joven Jorda in round three on Wednesday at Pattavikorn Market in Bangkok, Thailand. The Thai fighter proved his “ABCO fighter of the year 2004” award by exchanged punches with his foe most of the bout. The show ended in round three with the ABCO champion landing a vicious straight right to the Filipino’s head, scoring a one-punch KO at 2:07. In other action, WBA#1 light Prawet Singwancha (27-2-1,16 KOs) controlled the show with his superior skills and easily won a six round unanimous decision over a Filipino whose name reported as Dominador Arabrio. ABCO#1 superbantam Sairung Singwancha scored a TKO over Filipino Eric Rapada with the ring physician not allowing the Filipino to continue at the begining of round five because of a serious cut at his eyeblow. Also, ABCO#3 lightfly Pigmy Muangchaiyaphum (20-5-2,12KOs) won a six round unanimous decision over the Filipino whose name reported as Sisnorio Angerido. This event was promoted by Dr.Attaporn Tangnusart of VIP Boxing Promotion.

———————————————— Two-titme WBA title challenger Saohin Srithai Condo (47-11,31KOs) scored a eighth round TKO over Filipino Eddie Apa-ap to retain his PABA 126lb title at Porkungpao Restaurant in Udomsuk, Bangkok. The source reported that the Thai fighter displayed a one-side attack on the PABA-unranked contender that forced the Filipino’s corner to surrender at the begining of round eight. Saohin retained his PABA crown for the fourth time.
