International promoter Gabriel “Bebot” Elorde has offered International Boxing Federation junior featherweight champion Manny Pacquiao $250,000 to defend his title against top-rated challenger Jose Luis Valbuena of Venezuela on Nov. 15 in Los Angeles.
Elorde made the offer even as reported kinks surfaced in the planned showdown between Pacquiao and “The People’s Champion” featherweight Marco Antonio Barrera.
