Nonito Donaire Jr. Focused on Right Now- The Filipino Flash is showing the world time after time on why he’s one of the very best pure boxers in the biz. This past weekend Donaire needed just 3 rounds to smash Manuel Vargas. I called Nonito earlier today to congratulate him on his victory.
DB- Congrats champ, how are you feeling?
ND- Thanks man, I feel real good. I’m just packing my bag right now.
DB- Sounds good champ, where you off to?
ND- We are getting ready to go out to the Philippines to do a show and to just thank everybody out there that supports me. I’m going to be out there for about a week or so.

Victor Ortiz vs. Nate Campbell?- I’m sure that most of you have already heard the rumor that if Ortiz is to win 2 weeks from now against Hector Alatorre, that Vicious Victor will then lock horns against Nate Campbell, today I called up Nate to get the scoop. Here’s what was said.
DB- What up Nate? so talk to me, is Ortiz next up on the menu for you?
NC- Hey what’s going on Albert? Yes, well it’s being discussed so let’s see where it goes.
DB- Alot of fans will think that from the outside looking in that it will look like Golden Boy feeding you to the younger fighter, what’s your take on that?
NC- They can think what they wanna think, but you and I both know that aint true. I feel like he is being fed to me.
DB- I feel like maybe many are looking at your last fight..
NC-[Cutting In] And don’t believe that shit Albert, their thinking because Bradley looked busy against me that the same will apply here. Bradley wasn’t hitting me with shit. I hear Bradley looking for a date, shit, I’m right here. Give me 2 good eyes and I’m on his ass.
DB- Juan Diaz was also supposed to be too busy for you. I honestly thought that Diaz was going to be too much for you, that his high work rate was going to defeat you. You have a way about you though that makes you turn it into a real dog fight.
NC- Exactly. Let me start by saying that I like Juan Diaz, ever since I first met him when he was like 17 or 18 years old. I just went out there and ripped him apart because I was only doing my job. As I mentioned though, I like Diaz, but what I did to him I can very much do the same against anybody. I can do more off of 8-10 inches than most can do by using the entire ring. I fight smart and I can dig it into you and just punish you. Well hey Albert, I just got to the gym so I’ll call you later.
