“SAVE THE PEAK” AT HOLLYWOOD HIKING TRAIL

HOLLYWOOD, California – “Hollywood” sign will come back to a high stand this Wednesday, which tourists in Los Angeles hoping to catch a glimpse of the famous Hollywood sign have been dismayed a bit because of such change. As in, it no longer reads “Hollywood” but rather “Save The Peak.”

By the way, the Trust for Public Land (TPL) has announced its intention to protect the view of the famous Hollywood Sign by purchasing 138 acres on Cahuenga Peak in Los Angeles. TPL must raise $12.5 million by April 14 in order to prevent the land from being developed for luxury homes.

But, for Alex Ariza, the celebrated body-conditioning coach, such sign means something for him. As Griffith Park spans from the foot of “SAVE THE PEAK”, his conditioning philosophy has become increasingly important for his world renowned pupil, Pound-for-Pound King Manny Pacquiao, and much to the end that Pacquiao may have reached his peak too early on, thus…”SAVE THE PEAK”.

Yes, “SAVE THE PEAK” as it tells a different story for an athletic “machine”. In some way, It is about Pacquiao keeping his power immensely packed as he jogs and performs his exercise regimen in the dusty lanes of the Hollywood hiking trail in Griffith Park.

And Ariza, cool and collected, gets a break from the pre-buffering phase for Pacquiao’s routine. In fact, Nonoy Neri, another Filipino boxing trainer, takes the command of Pacquiao’s finishing cut as Filipino phenom engages muscle-building and “joints-wheeler” exercise.

Meanwhile, Ariza predicts that Pacquiao will take down Clottey in the early rounds, if not the Ghananian panther may just quit without finishing the twelve rounds of boxing from Pacquiao’s heavy body shots.

“Usually, a boxer with a solid chin, such as Clottey, has likely weaker body,” said Ariza. “I don’t think he can take Pacquiao’s hooks to his body; he’ll quit before late rounds.”

“I see Pacquiao’s conditioning level; he has picked up to a perfect form,” he added.

While fans and a few of the media personalities watched the maharlikan King past the outbreak of the morning sun, Pacquiao singing in the melody of his I-pod seemingly does his share of body mechanics just in a much a playful mode.

Pacquiao is on high gear of his training in Los Angeles, California for his March 13 bout against Joshua Clottey of Ghana for the WBO Welter Weight Championship at the Dallas Cowboy Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Yes, as for now, Pacquiao may have to “SAVE THE PEAK” at the Hollywood hiking trail – all for another devastating win in the ring of madness.
