Shallow reasoning! No class of logic!
At least, those are fitting condemnation of David Howman’s stupid remarks of Pound-for-Pound King Manny Pacquiao’s refusal to Floyd Mayweather, Jr.’s demand to have the former submit to the random blood draws for drug analyses inside 30 days of the fight date, as told to the media as a major requisite in having both fighters agreed to the final set-upsupposedly for March 13.
David Howman, Director General of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), has recently stated in an interview with Reuters, to wit: “Your first thought is he is cheating if he is not prepared to do something that shows heis not cheating. Blood tests are pretty simple, it’s a prick in the arm, it isnot going to deplete his energy or ability to fight. You are not taking a pint of blood, you are taking a very small amount.”
Howman must have gotten to the core of interfering the affairs of the Nevada Athletic Commission and, in fact, his statements presumptuously clip the power of the said commission. It is a direct interference of another jurisdiction, putting the same on “hostage”.
Howman must have really underestimated Pacquiao’s natural intelligence and psychological defense.
Why can’t he just make a bolder remark in saying that Pacquiao needs to submit to the demands of the dissenting Americans because he is just another Asian fighter like Bruce Lee who must be destroyed in a different fashion other than in the ring of boxing?
Howman should apologize to Pacquiao for making such statements public, if those were indeed intended as statements of personal opinion, meaning not official statements of the agency he represents.
Or, maybe he is simply wanting to get public attention, if not attempting to project relevance in his moments of stupor and unsecured inactivity of his job.
Or, maybe, just maybe…he himself might as well need to submit to series of random blood draws!
