International Boxing Federation president Marian Muhammad said yesterday that the IBF has not approved a plan of junior featherweight champion Manny Pacquiao to postpone a scheduled mandatory title defense against no.3 rated Jose Luis Valbuena before Oct. 26 and go ahead with a planned Nov. 15 fight against Marco Antonio Barrera in the featherweight division.
“The IBF has not been made aware of the plans by Pacquiao’s handlers,” Muhammad said.
