Ivan Calderon (The Boxing Truth junior flyweight champion) is set to return to action in April and his promoter, Ivan Rivera of PR Best Boxing, could pit the undefeated Puerto Rican against Colombian Carlos Tamara (ranked #2 by The Boxing Truth).
In comments to El Vocero, Rivera made it clear that a fight with Tamara is in play if contractual issues between parties representing the Colombian can be resolved.
Felix Zabala of All-Star Boxing claims to have Tamara under contract, while manager Nelson Gonzalez claims that those obligations expires in March, 2098.
Tamara rose in prominence when he knocked-out Brian Viloria during January.
