Who says boxing is dead? Out of 100 athletes from all sports across the United States, boxing still proved that it still has pull among mainstream US audiences. Manny Pacquiao was in at 72, Floyd Mayweather at 91 and Sugar Shane Mosley came in at a surprise 93. Goes to show you that boxing still has influence in the United States no matter what people try and tell you.

Mosley-Mayweather..Who knows if the rumors are true
First off I hope this fight gets done. I was so angry that Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather couldn’t come to an agreement I put the pen down for awhile on this blog. But I was happy to see Manny Pacquiao take on such a tough challenge in Joshua Clottey. That should be a great fight and looks like it will be a great event for Dallas too. But I also hope Floyd Mayweather Jr. takes the intiative to fight Shane Mosley in what could be a mega-fight. I hope he realizes that fight fans just aren’t going to settle for anymore backing out of fights or fighting blown up lightweights. It is a fight where Floyd can make a lot of money, a fight where he can enhance his legacy, and a fight of which he would be at least a 2 to 1 favorite. I hope I am wrong. Floyd can shut a lot of people up if takes this challenge. But with Floyd’s track record I have my doubts. Will Duckweather continue to quack? My question to Floyd, Shane, and Golden Boy is,”What is the hold up.” Shouldn’t the fight be done by now. I guess not. I hope this is not a here we go again, with Floyd finding a way to back out of a fight.
Manny is Clean. Leave the Man Alone
Here is my message to people blaming Manny Pacquiao for the Mayweather fight not happening. Get off his back! He has fought all comers, Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales, Juan Manuel Marquez, Ricky Hatton, Oscar De La Hoya, and Miguel Cotto. Admire him don’t accuse him. Manny is as clean as they come. He has never failed a PED test. And he has never been associated with PED’s prior to the Mayweather accusations. People can’t fall into the trap of just because Manny is fantastic, he must be on something. The only thing Manny is on is hard work and natural ability. Sorry haters, move on and let Manny be Manny, which is incredible.
