Mayweather’s no hermit, may kiss Kermit (Cintron)

Latest word on Bash Boulevard is that Floyd Mayweather Jr. is going to stop being a hermit and come out to kiss Kermit.

Looks like Mayweather is feeling extremely “Froggy.”

Kermit ‘The Frog” Cintron, that is even though the Puerto Rican out of Pennsylvania is a full fledged junior middleweight and Mayweather usually picks on smallish guys.

But don’t take it from “a low life” like me, pal. Take it from Oskie de la Hoya who told a Puerto Rican reporter that Golden Boy is recommending Cintron, a KO loser to Antonio Margarito, as L’il Floyd’s March foe.

Oskie used wordfs like “very likely” but hedged and said Money must approve the match. Doh!

Fair is fair and Mayweather-Cintron does pass even the Lowlifers Quality Control Test. Both Charles and Theo Atlas will Roger that.

Cintron, age 30, was born in Carolina, grew up in Reading and now lives in Houston. He would have a 5-11 to 5-8 height advantage and a 74-72 inch reach advnatage over Money.

Cintron’s pro log is 32-1-1 with 28 KOs and he is 3-1-1 in his last five bouts, including a majority draw against Argentina’s Sergio Martinez. He posted a decision win over then unbeaten Alfredo Angulo.

He weighed 153 1-2 pounds for the Angulo bout in Sunrise, Fl.

Mayweather is spotless at 40-0 with 25 knockouts.

No truth to the rumor that Money May’s crack(ed) team is looking at a catchweight bout against Hornswoggle, the tiny tot Mayweather met while performing with the Honest Rasslers of the WWE.

Mayweather loves Mr. McMahon and the WWE troupe so much I hear he may establish a legal domicile in Connecticut so he can vote for Repblican senatorial candidate Linda McMahon.

In other breaking boxing news, American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) is going to sanction the Roy Jones-Bernard Hopkins “Too Little, Too Late” rematch which HBO will try to shove down our collective throats on April 7.

AARP is ready to announce the prestigious WPB, Wrinkled Prune belt will be on the line.

No word yet on whther Roy and Weekend At Bernie will be allowed to use wheelchairs and walkers in their ring walks.

Jones has settled on Luther Vandross’ hit “I Don’t Want To Be A Fool (Again)” as his ring walk theme.

Cintron will go with his customary “It Ain’t easy Being Green.”

Word has it Red Buttons Celebrity Reitrement Village is prepping a large bid to host this Geriatric Madness.

Oh and children under age 55 get in free if accompanied by septuagenarians.

Possible promotional tag line: Geezers But Pleasers or They’re Old But Still Bold.

I hear that if Flomax does not get involved, they will cut somebody’s water off.
