I have to say it is hard to believe that Pacquiao does not want to take the blood test to prove he is not on any performance enhancing drugs. Mayweather is willing to take the same exact test at the same time. Could Floyd Sr. be right this time? Pacquiao has really thrown the media and fans into a loop with this. Freddie Roach says that the NSAC testing is fine but the Oylympic Style drug testing isn?t. We are confused.
Everybody is on their wits end as to whether this fight is going to take place at all. I mean we are still shocked over the $10 million dollar over the weight limit controversy. I mean even Marquez camp didn?t ask for that much. There really shouldn?t be a problem with Floyd making the 147lbs anyways. Are the two camps really playing us? Are they just trying to build up hype? We hope they aren?t. Our hearts and mind cannot take these mind games. This whole thing is becoming a cirus event and it just might draw the fans away.
Needless to say, we need this fight to happen. The fans need this fight. Mayweather needs this fight, Pacquiao needs this fight. All the men involved need to put their pride to the side. It?s a shame that the sport of boxing has moved from the ?Love of Boxing? to ?how much money? can I make in boxing without taking high risk.
