International boxing champion Manny Pacquiao said Monday that he is ready to support the presidential bid of President Arroyo, should she ask for it, in return for all the help that she had given him.
Pacquiao told reporters after he received from the President the Presidential Medal of Merit and a P1 million check at the Palace Ceremonial Hall, that some presidential candidates have approached him to seek his help, but he declined to name them.
Asked if he would be willing to campaign for Mrs. Arroyo, he said: ?Kung kailangan niya ang tulong ko, bakit hindi? . . . Willing po ako na tulungan si Madam dahil malaki po ang naitulong niya sa akin. Handa po akong tumulong sa kanya.?
He said ?other? presidential aspirants have tried to tap him, apparently for campaign purposes.
