Bob Arum’s Top Rank Inc. has forged a partnership with giant Filipino TV station ABS-CBN. The deal was formally announced on Friday afternoon at the ABS-CBN headquarters in Quezon City in the Philippines with the Hall of Fame promoter sealing the partnership with ABS-CBN chairman Gabby Lopez and key officials of the network. Several Filipino fighters showcase their wares under the Top Rank banner and their exploits would be beamed live by ABS-CBN worldwide by way of The Filipino Channel. Expected to be given exposure here and abroad are Nonito Donaire, Brian Viloria, Bernabe Concepcion and several other rising punchers. But Manny Pacquiao fights would still be shown by Solar Sports and GMA 7, a rival of ABS-CBN.
