Dondon Sultan TKO'd by Japanese foe in the 7th rd

Philippine welter champion Dondon Sultan failed in his bid to capture the OPBF welterweight championship belt. A report posted at BoxRec.com indicated that Sultan was TKO'd by Kazuhiko Hidaka at the 1:07 mark of the 7th round of their 12-round encounter at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Hidaka thus successfully defended the title he wrested from erstwhile Filipino OPBF Champ Rev Santillan last March 19, 2005. More to come ...
