Reason I ask is he is fighting at a weight way too big! The 130 lb. division, it maybe where Marco Antonio Barrera & Erik Morales, the big money fights are. But Manny is a natural flyweight, who was biting off too much of a size disadvantage I thought at 126 lbs. and featherweight. At 130, there is a chance he could be beat by guys lesser than Barrera or Erik “El Terrible.” Many, if not most of you fight fans don’t realize the big difference in natural size. Pacquiao lost to Morales because of the difference in height and size! If they fight again, even after picking Pacquiao the first time, I’d have to favor Morales. The biggest difference between Manny, Marco, & Erik at 130, is that Manny is one-dimensional and he hasn’t taken the punching power with him from 122 to 126 & 130. Even at 126 lbs., he only had that great win over Barrera. After that Pacquiao struggled with Juan Manuel Marquez, who is not in the same league as Morales or Barrera. A September clash with shopworn Kevin Kelley will do nothing but pad the Filipino’s record. What can Kelley do other than that? He’s a lefty, something neither Morales nor Barrera are. And he’s slower than oil running uphill. If Team Pacquiao wants to do something for Manny, getting him a win over Kevin does nothing to improve his chances with either Marco or Erik…
