‘Coach’ Roach: “I am very confident in my guy and we are 100 per cent ready for the fight. I feel like Manny, with the power he is punching with right now at this weight I feel that he is going to knock Cotto out. I have seen all the tapes on Cotto and he makes certain adjustments when he fights a southpaw which is something that we can expect, but he has never fought a guy with Manny’s speed.”
“I think he is going to try and be a counter-puncher and not come at us, but he will have trouble with Manny’s speed. Working the mitts with Manny at this weight he is punching harder than he ever has. He’s punching fast and hard now and I don’t think Cotto has enough. He is hittable and people that Manny can hit, he knocks out.”
