Rodrigo wondered: ?More people in the Philippines are killed each year due to vehicular accidents. Will Sen. Pimentel legislate a law banning motor vehicles in our country??
I?ve always liked Sen. Pimentel, one of Cagayan?s distinguished children. He is a brilliant lawyer, straight as a flaming arrow. But I, too, frowned at his proposal. To borrow the words of my good friend Jerry Tundag, The Freeman?s editor-in-chief: ?You don?t have to burn a house down to kill a rat.?
