Ring of regrets: Manny Pacquiao, inner circle apologize

Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield set the tone on Friday sitting down with peacemaker Oprah Winfrey in her Chicago TV studio.

So I say, following their fine example, that today is Apology Day, a time to say I’m sorry and time to forgive and forget, in the Manny Pacquiao training camp in Baguio.

I mean, why not? As far as is known, strength and conditioning coach Alex Ariza did not pull a Tyson.

He punched out Agent 008, controversial Michael Koncz, he did not bite off a hunk of his earlobe.

How, you may ask, would Marley, sitting in his White Harlem Manhattan headquarters, know that?

The answer is that I spoke with Koncz about seven times Friday and he never said, “Huh, what, I can’t hear you?”
