MINI TRIAL PITS MANNY VS. FIRED PROMOTER
New York, NY-Documents sent filed Friday, June 17, 2005 by Judd Burstein and Keith Davidson, attorneys for Manny Pacquiao, to be possible witnesses in the speedy trial between Pacquiao and ex-promoter Murad Muhammad. Based on approval and acceptance by the witness, the list includes ex-World heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis, Philippine Journalist Quinito Henson, Boying Nazario, Freddie Roach, Manny Pacquiao, and Murad Muhammad.

Also on the list is Lou DiBella, promoter of Jermain Taylor and others. Di Bella offered Pacquiao an extraordinary contract back in 2002, but through lies, deceit, and prior agreements, Manny resigned with Muhammad. Promoter Dino Duva may be called to possibly testify that he offered Pacquiao a contract back in 2001 before Murad ever got involved. This will prove that Muhammad wasn’t the one who search long and far for Manny. And possibly a killer to the Muhammad defense, attorney Sydney Hall may come and testify against Muhammad. Remember it was Hall who brought Manny to the United States and advised him to sign a short promotional agreement with Murad. Then Murad ran Hall out, and thus he’s suing Muhammad in a different case and a California court.
