Than he put Buster Douglas on the Tyson – Spinks undercard. Look at the crock we were fed for $50 last Saturday night! The Mayweather – Marquez show had another horrible undercard. Golden Boy is getting a reputation for this. But don’t sell Bob Arum short, his are pretty bad also. An entire sports bar of UFC, boxing and college football fans were watching the free portions of UFC and the free college football and not the boxing undercard. I was embarrassed. Shane Mosley and Bernard Hopkins made Floyd Mayweather look like he had some class in the obviously scripted post fight interview. I actually expect more out of Mosley. Hopkins I know has no class. Some say, Pacquiao, size-wise, can’t match up to Mayweather. Does Floyd have just enough defensive skill to get an early lead and keep Pacquiao off of him for 12 rounds and stink out the joint for a points win? Something Team Pacquiao has to consider. Mosley is also too big for Pacquiao. But Mosley is too old to stay with Pacquiao and be competitive. Miguel Cotto is s -h- o- t shot! He’ll look like a fighter for a few rounds before Pacquiao destroys him. This is not to say Pacquiao shouldn’t get his due respect. Max Kellerman is in so far over his head it’s embarrassing to watch anymore. Holy crap! No. 1 World Boxing Council contender Silvio Branco is 43! The former 154 champ from Italy was a pretty decent fighter in his day – a long time ago.This is a bigger joke than Chris Arreola being a No. 1 WBC contender and fighting Vitali Klitschko Saturday night. I don’t know either if the WBC Ratings Committee or Championship Committee is at fault here but this is really ridiculous. Just because a fighter moves up the ratings via attrition shouldn’t qualify him for a mandatory title shot. Come on Jose!
